CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, March 6, 2024 – DepEd Regional Office X received a prestigious recommendation for ISO 9001:2015 certification during the online Grand Closing Meeting for the Stage 2 External Audit on March 6.
After the actual interviews and evaluation of documents, the auditors from TUV Nord Philippines, Inc. Kristabelle B. Aguilar and April Thessa Diaz, assisted by DepEd Central Office NQMS secretariats Andy B. Nisperos and Rodel D. Burcer, gave the Regional Office (RO) zero non-conformities, seven opportunities for improvement, and four comments.
DepEd X Regional Director Dr. Arturo B. Bayocot, CESO III, thanked the Regional Office (RO) personnel for competently and diligently doing their tasks to ensure that all their processes and corresponding documents are in order.
“My dear Regional Office X family, thank you for all that you do. We recognize that we have not perfected everything, but we understand that the largest room for improvement is worth the effort. We would like to express a deep commitment to our TUV NORD partner and our Central Office, affirming that DepEd X truly works not only for our own glory but for the glory of God and, of course, for the entire organization,” RD Bayocot said.
RD Bayocot said that the biggest challenge in everything done is sustainability. “Initially, we might excel, but as the day progresses, we tend to lose interest. Sustaining momentum becomes the real problem. It is crucial to ensure that the processes we eloquently defended during the audit are translated into actions. We have a standard to maintain,” he added.
