CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, August 25, 2022 – Supporting the Department’s serious campaign to ensure the safe and productive opening of classes for School Year 2022-2023, DepEd X Regional Director Arturo B. Bayocot conducted his school visits yesterday in select schools in the city.
In his message during the first day of classes on August 22, he said “We had already taken the initial steps by implementing and sustaining our Brigada Eskwela initiatives to ensure that our schools are so clean, safe, beautiful, and fully equipped that our learners will be proud to say, ‘Our school is our second home!’”
And through the Oplan Balik Eskwela, DepEd NorMin continues its initiatives to reach all learners, including “the seemingly unreachable learners from the far-flung areas to ensure that all will experience and enjoy the first day of school and onwards.”
According to Bayocot, “When VP Sara said, ‘We are here to make this happen,’ I believe her, and we must all do.”
After visiting West City Central School and Macasandig National High School, Bayocot, both under the Division of Cagayan de Oro City, will continue his visits in various Region X schools to ensure that all are in one direction in taking the NorMin learners back to school.
